Ozarks & Branson Weekend Guide: Lakes, Shows, and Cabin Decks

Day 1: Arrive and settle into the lake

Pick up groceries in Branson, then head out to your cabin on Table Rock Lake. Spend the afternoon on the dock or the deck, and grill dinner as the sun drops behind the hills.

Day 2: Branson day and night

  • Morning at Silver Dollar City or the Branson Landing
  • Lunch on the 76 Strip
  • Afternoon trout fishing or a Branson Scenic Railway ride
  • Evening live-music show — book tickets ahead

Day 3: Buffalo River and home

Drive south into Arkansas for a half-day float on the Buffalo National River beneath the bluffs, or hike Dogwood Canyon if you'd rather stay close. Head home after an early dinner.
