Baja California Road Trip: Tacos, Wine, and Whale Watching
A long weekend from the border to Ensenada — surf towns, Mexico's wine country, and some of the best seafood on the coast.

Day 1: Rosarito
Cross at Tijuana and head straight to Rosarito for beach tacos, a surf session, and a cliffside villa sunset. Keep the evening low-key — tomorrow is wine country.
Day 2: Valle de Guadalupe
- Drive the scenic toll road south to Ensenada
- Taste wines at boutique vineyards in Valle de Guadalupe
- Eat a long lunch at a farm restaurant
- Stay in a vineyard casita under the stars
Day 3: Ensenada and home
Walk the Malecón, try the original fish taco, and visit La Bufadora blowhole before heading north. Cross the border early or late to avoid peak wait times.
